Terminalia Arjuna

Terminalia arjuna is commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine to promote cardiovascular health. The tree used to produce this herb grows all over India.
Other Names
This herb is also called arjun tree, arjuna tree, koha, white marudah, orjun, yerra maddi, and sadaru.
Appearance
This tree grows to be 25 meters tall. It has smooth grayish bark and oval leaves that grow opposite each other on their stems. The tree grows small white flowers in the spring that become fibrous green fruit.
Origins
This herb is native to India.

The bark and leaves are used.

This herb can be used to treat:
- high cholesterol
