Natural Wart Remedies

Use these natural wart remedies instead of over-the-counter creams to help you get rid of warts fast. These home remedies for warts work.

Apple Cider Vinegar

soak a small piece of cotton in apple cider vinegar and place it on your wart before going to bed. Use water-proof medical tape or a bandaid to tape it on. Remove the tape in the morning and let the area breathe. Repeat the process again at night. This remedy could take as long as a month to work depending on the wart. You may want to put petroleum jelly or some other thick oil on the area around wart to protect the skin from the apple cider vinegar.

Castor Oil

Keep the wart covered in castor oil. Apply the castor oil three times daily and keep the wart covered with a bandaid.

Oil of Oregano

Put diluted oil of oregano on the wart at night and cover it with a bandaid.

Tea Tree Oil

Put undiluted tea tree oil on the wart twice a day.

Potato

Cut a raw potato in half and rub the inside of the potato on the wart twice daily. Continue this treatment for two weeks.

Herbs

Placing a poultice of one of these crushed up herbs on the area can also act as natural wart remedies.

• Calendula
• Chickweed
• Garlic

When using a garlic poutice apply petroleum jelly or some other thick oil to the surrounding skin to protect it.

Immune Health

While you're using any of the natural wart remedies listed above you should also work at strengthening your immune system. A strong immunes system will help your body get rid of the wart.

Take immune boosting vitamins like, vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin D. You can get all of these vitamins from a good quality one-a-day multi-vitamin.

Take immune boosting herbs like echinacea, astragalus, cat's claw, ginseng and elderberry.

Get plenty of rest. If you're not getting the rest you need your immune system will be weak.

Eat healthy food. Including plenty of dark green and brightly colored vegetables and plenty of healthy fruits in your diet will help keep your immune system strong.
